A short film with still and moving images showing the exhumation of a long unused 1923 BSA coupé with rumble seat. It is hoped that the car will be conserved rather than restored to retain its original features. The odometer reads 14000 miles which is probably correct. Unusually the car is absolutely complete. A trip in my son’s 1931 BSA Sports Trike. He bought this car in 1984 when he was still a school boy and restored it over the next two and a half years. He then sold it in 1990 to finance another restoration. However he never forgot this car and purchased it again in 2003 and restored in again over the next eleven months. The car is now in ‘as new’ condition although he has modified it slightly by fitting higher ratio final drive gears to give it ‘longer legs’ that are more suitable for todays traffic. Lots of fun!
